Paco Rabanne

paco rabanne

When it comes to luxury designer perfume, look no further than the house of Paco Rabanne.

This Spanish brand is all about easy, fun fashion and signature fragrances. Paco Rabanne hit the world stage with the release of his show-stopping mini skirt dresses that were one-of-a-kind!

The clever use of hammered metal, recycled materials, leather and fur made him stand head and shoulders above other fashion designers.

Paco Rabanne perfumes

Paco Rabanne brought this sense of disruption, innovation, and out-of-the-box thinking to perfumes.

lady million

His first perfume – Calandre – shook up the fragrance world.

Today, Paco Rabanne’s perfumes are still rocking our worlds.

Lady Million

Lady Million by Paco Rabanne is a worldwide sensation, and has stayed top of the charts for years. Lady Million captures the essence of what evocative femininity is all about. Fresh, woody, floral, exciting, addictive. With top notes of white flowers bouquet, a heart notes of Jasmin absolute, and base note of honey accord, Lady Million is as rich and luxurious as the golden girl who wears it.

Paco Rabanne even has a male counterpart to Lady Million. 1 Million is the gold bar of luxury scents for men.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Paco Rabanne keeps hitting out home runs with his perfumes.

Consider Black XS. The heart of rock and roll never smelt this sweet. Black XS brings out every woman’s hidden rock star.

Olympea and Invictus

Not to rest on their laurels, the Greek mythology-inspired Olympea and Invictus are unexpected, powerful, masterful.

Olympea for women is unlike anything you’ve smelled before, and is sure to draw compliments whenever you wear it. Think salted caramel, creamy vanilla, rich coffee. Mouth-watering indeed! If you have not tried it yet, add it to your list of must-have perfumes.

Invictus for men has a zingy quality. This is thanks to the grapefruit, spiciness, and almost metallic tones infused in this perfume. The end results? Intense invigoration. Much like winning the big game. The fragrance settles into warm herbs and patchouli, and reveals bass notes of salty ambergris, spiky woods, and warm amber.

Paco Rabanne now

Now retired, the design house of Paco Rabanne continues with the vibrancy and quality of their founder. Born Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo in 1934 in Spain, his mother took him to France to flee the Spanish Civil war.

From here on, Francisco would be known as Paco Rabanne. He studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and then dabbled in costume jewelry design for some of the top design houses of the day: Nina Ricci, Pierre Cardin, Balenciaga, Courreges, and Givenchy, to name a few.

Everything changed in 1966 when he turned fashion upside-down and released the ’12 Unwearable Dresses in Contemporary Materials’.

Thankfully for all of us in the rest of the world, his perfumes are absolutely wearable!
